According to reports Usher has been announced as one of the performers to kick off the 2008 NFL season with a free Sept. 4 concert at New York's Columbus Circle. The show, will follow the NFL season opener between the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
